The family board game Replantica nurtures children's connection with nature. It teaches them how to plant and care after trees, how important forests are for the survival of animals and, importantly, that forests are our collective responsibility to protect and restore.
Every Replantica product sold supports the planting of real trees in select projects through a donation to the worldwide reforestation charity platform Plant for the Planet. All of our reforestation projects aim to restore the habitats of endangered animals and all ensure continued care for the planted saplings. Some projects have added social value such as helping women out of poverty through micropayments for their participation in tree planting activities.
With your help, to date, we've planted over 6000 trees in crisis regions around the world, and keep counting!
Our planet loses around 13 million hectares of forests every year, due to agricultural expansion, illegal logging, wildfires and climate change. This destroys the biodiversity of the forest ecosystems. In the past 50 years, we have observed over 70% decline in biodiversity around the world, with Latin American countries and the Caribbean showing the greatest regional decline of 94%. Our aim is to help reverse this trend and preserve severely endangered species, as well as to motivate today's and tomorrow's adults to adopt a responsible attitude towards nature.
